Text Box: BCM New York Mission Trip:  December   13-19th :: Primary Work will be down at the Bowery Mission in Manhattan near China Town :: background informationText Box: Founded in 1879, The Bowery Mission is the third oldest Gospel Mission in the U.S.  The Bowery Mission is called to minister in New York City to men, women, and children caught in the cycles of poverty, hopelessness and dependencies of many kinds, and to see their lives transformed to hope, joy, lasting productivity & eternal life through the power of Jesus Christ. In addition to offering free meals, shower facilities and three daily chapel services, the Bowery Mission has a Discipleship Institute, a six-month residential recovery program for men who were once homeless. Text Box: Currently, there are spaces left for 13 males & 13 females.  Pay the $25.00 deposit by October 31st to secure a spot. Find out when your finals are & email Mandy at MTrammell@bcmlsu.net if you are interested.  Once you have paid your deposit, you may book your ticket. Participants are responsible for their transportation to & from the airport.   Cost: $200.00 + price of a plane ticket.    The cost covers lodging, mission trip costs, most meals, & subway passes. the detailsFor more information, go to www.bowery.org!Text Box: The preferred times for you to schedule your flight are December 13th with an arrival in the afternoon and a departure on the morning of December 19th.  If you arrive or depart on different days you will have to arrange alternative lodging for those times.  Please book through Laguardia Airport (LGA.)  If you book tickets now you will have the best chance of a low fare, the prices rise quickly. because the return date is so close to Christmas.  The best deals are currently about $250 found at www.orbitz.com.
